WCSU is a congressionally designated depository for U.S Government documents. Public access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law (for more information, see Title 44 United States Code). As a participant in the Federal Depository Library Program, WCSU receives copies of many government documents on an ongoing basis. While WCSU is a congressionally designated depository for federal documents, it is not a state document depository. We maintain limited print collections of Connecticut documents, and provide access to electronic state documents whenever possible. The Connecticut State Library in Hartford, CT, maintains the largest and most complete collection of print and electronic Connecticut state documents.
