Research Help & Appointments

In-Person Help

Prefer meeting face-to-face? We’ve got you covered!

From the WCSU Libraries Homepage you can check our Hours of Operation to see when a librarian is staffing the Reference Desk at either the Haas or Young libraries. During these hours anyone is allowed to walk up and get help from a librarian!

You can also schedule an appointment ahead of time! Click on the big orange button that says “Schedule a Research Appointment” to pick a time and place! This button can also be found on our homepage!

Virtual Help

There are a few ways to interact virtually with a librarian!

From anywhere on the WCSU Libraries website you’ll be able to see our Chat Icon, whenever it is orange that means a librarian is live and ready to help with any questions that you might have. When the Chat Icon is greyed out, that means your questions will be submitted as a ticket and will be responded to within the next 24 hours. You can also schedule a virtual appointment with a librarian though the "Schedule a Research Appointment" form.

If you’d prefer to email directly with a librarian, you can reach us at: ask@wcsu.libanswers.com

Research Appointments

As mentioned above, we implemented the ability for students and faculty to make research appointments. Appointments can be in-person, at either the Haas or Young Libraries, or virtual. Just click on the button below to begin!
