Blackboard Modules

Introducing Library Blackboard Modules!

Our Blackboard Modules are new for the Fall 2023 Semester and will allow you to include library resources and links right in your course page!

The default Blackboard template will automatically include a Library Resources page with three Modules already plugged in! However, there are over 15 for you to pick from and include in your courses!

I realize that not every course is the same, each will require different levels of research and library integration based on the goals and outcomes of the class and preferences of its teacher. As such, each course/professor will not be limited to what modules to include in their blackboard course; however, to help give professors a place to start, I am including a list of recommended modules to add to any Blackboard shell based on its course level (100, 200, 300, 400, graduate).

On this page you will be able to find:

  • A document with the full list of Library Blackboard Modules
  • A training document showing you how to add a Library Resource page to your course and how to populate it with Library Modules
  • A list of each Library Module as a separate downloadable PDF to use as handouts in your classes
