Welcome to the Curriculum Collection library guide!
The Curriculum Collection makes available for review and analysis a collection of high quality preK-12 instructional materials. This collection supports the education curriculum of WCSU and serves education students & faculty, pre-and in-service teachers, and the greater university community.
Materials available include:
The Curriculum Collection has been recatalogued. It is now shelved in the regular shelving areas of Haas library with other books, all according to the Library of Congress Classification System.
The Juvenile Collection is currently undergoing re-cataloging. These materials are in the process of being relocated and reshelved together on the 5th floor of Haas library. During this time. many of the items are temporarily in the Tech Services section of the library. When the project is complete the Juvenile books will no longer be classified via the Dewey Decimal System in the library.
Curriculum Collection (orange) and Juvenile books (green) will have a colored coded stickers on their spines for easy identification. Materials can be located by searching by title, author, or subject through WestSearch, an online discovery tool; by using the search terms "Curriculum Collections" or "Juvenile Collection"; or by using the location facet on the left column of the WestSearch results page.
