The Archaeological Conservancy is the only national, nonprofit organization that identifies, acquires, and preserves the most significant archaeological sites in the United States. Since its beginning in 1980, the Conservancy has now preserved 585 sites across the nation, ranging in age from the earliest habitation sites in North America to a 19th-century frontier army post.

Human Relations Area Files (HRAF) is internationally recognized in the field of cultural anthropology. Founded in 1949 at Yale University, HRAF is a membership-supported nonprofit organization comprised of universities, colleges, libraries, and research institutions. Its mission is to promote understanding of cultural diversity and commonality in the past and present. To accomplish this mission, HRAF produces scholarly resources and infrastructure for research, teaching and learning, and supports and conducts original research on cross-cultural variation.

The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) is an independent federal agency comprised of 24 statutorily designated members from federal agencies, preservation organizations, Indian tribes, and expert private citizens. It has a staff of 42 employees based in Washington, D.C. who carry out historic preservation case reviews, provide training in historic preservation law and policy, conduct outreach to the American public on the importance of historic sites and community preservation, and much more.

The American Cultural Resources Association (ACRA) is the national network of professional members and service partners representing the cultural resource management (CRM) industry and associated fields of study. To help guide smart, sustainable economic development and safeguard important historic and cultural heritage assets, ACRA members apply specialized research skills within a framework of federal, state, local, and/or tribal law and facilitate an open dialog where every stakeholder has a voice. ACRA advocates for its members and provides them with tools, know-how, networking, and other opportunities to excel as businesses.

Designated by the U.S. Congress as the national center for folklife documentation and research, the Center meets its mission by stewarding archival collections, creating public programs, and exchanging knowledge and expertise. The Center's vision is to encourage diversity of expression and foster community participation in the collective creation of cultural memory.

(Formerly the AAPA) The American Association of Biological Anthropologists, or AABA, is the world's leading professional organization for biological anthropologists. Formed by 83 charter members in 1930, the AABA now has an international membership of over 2,200. The Association's annual meetings draw more than two thousand scientists and students from all over the world.

The New York Consortium in Evolutionary Primatology (NYCEP) is a graduate training consortium in biological anthropology that unites the resources of the American Museum of Natural History, the City University of New York, Columbia University, the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York University, and the Wildlife Conservation Society. We also collaborate with Rutgers University, the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, and the University of Tübingen. Our diverse faculty, current students, and successful alumni pursue research in morphology, paleontology, systematics, population genetics, primate behavior, ecology, and conservation in our numerous laboratories and at field sites around the world.
