SCSU and WCSU each have a discovery tool, called Primo, to help you search for resources. At SCSU Primo is called SouthernSearch. At WCSU, Primo is called WestSearch. Each can be accessed directly from your home library website. You can use SouthernSearch or WestSearch to search for books, eBooks, videos. You can also search for journals by title and search for journal articles articles from the same interface - if you like. However, we recommend you continue to use individual databases, such as CINAHL, Medline, or Education Research Complete, to search for journal articles.
Books/eBooks: When off campus and you want to search for books or eBooks, go to the library home page and start searching in SouthernSearch or WestSearch. For better functionality and results, use the Advanced Search option. Note should log into the library system on a link in the top right corner. Your home campus login will be exactly the same as logging into most of the other systems on your campus.
Journal articles: When off campus go to the databases page on your home library's website. Find the database you want and click on it. You will be prompted to log into the system through interfaces like the two below, WCSU on left, SCSU on right.
Note: WCSU login does not work with SCSU logins, no matter what the instructions imply! Please contact your librarians if you need access to materials from the other campus.
