The Arts include, but are not limited to, Digital Interactive Media (DIMA), Film and Broadcasting (FAB), Music (MUS and MED), Theatre Arts (THR), Visual Arts (ART), and Writing (WRT).
Study in the Arts includes the practice of an artistic discipline through creation, performance, and/or critical analysis. Arts courses may include the scholarly exploration of history, theory, and creative processes in the given discipline. Studio, workshop, and performance courses in the Arts should include components of discovery, practice, giving and receiving feedback, reflection, and revision/evolution of the work.

Through studies in the humanities, students will encounter the interrelatedness of human experience in historical perspective; the diverse nature, meanings, and functions of creative endeavors through the study of literature, music, the theatrical and visual arts, and related forms of expression; and the ethical principles that guide individual and collective action.
